Job Description
This is a temporary contract, working full time hours. The clients head office is based in Oxford.
Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for the service, including enquiries which may be emotive and complex in nature
- Process and respond promptly to incoming communications, accurate message taking, copying and distributing information as necessary
- General clerical and administrative tasks to support the service as required, such as electronic and manual filing, data management and reporting, photocopying, scanning
- Organise meetings and statutory events, ensuring that appointments are realistically planned with regard to timing and venue; preparing materials to support the event
- Basic financial tasks, taking payments, e-procurement, issues purchase receipts, receiving goods
Requirements
- Two years proven administrative experience preferably in a specialist service area
- English Language and Mathematics GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent, or comparable ability
- Experience and regular use of Microsoft Office applications alongside other computer systems and software (LiquidLogic and Capital One desireable)
- Ability to produce accurate summaries of meetings, events and conversations, handling data and statistics, work to deadlines and communicate effectively via telephone, email or in person.
