Job Responsibilities:
- As a leader in team, you will get to motivate and mentor Project Engineers and collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders. You will leverage your skills and experience to provide expert guidance (EG) to ensure the successful delivery of all engineering aspects in your teams’ areas of responsibility.
- As a Senior Project Engineer, you will have the chance to shape our future by leading and reviewing projects and collaborating with experts and consultants from across the enterprise. You will be instrumental in enhancing our engineering processes and practices by adopting new ways of working, sharing your insights and suggestions and developing our talent.
- You will create and execute project engineering plans that meet the client’s needs and expectations. You will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, such as managers, engineers, contractors and suppliers, to ensure the engineering deliverables are met on time, on budget and with high quality. You will also foster a positive and collaborative culture within your team and across the project, promoting empathy, inclusion and diversity.
- As a champion for engineering, you will be the voice of the project in the business and sometimes outside of it. You will be an expert on engineering aspects of the delivery team. You will boost our performance while handling risks or issues that may not be in your power.
Requirements:
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or has demonstrable equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Experience of providing technical advice at a senior level, leading the delivery of successful engineering outcomes in multidisciplinary projects and leading/managing an engineering team
