Purchasing and Sales Assistant



  • Monitoring stock levels, liaise with warehouse and reorder stock as necessary
  • Processing purchase orders, goods received notes and purchase invoices
  • Answering telephone and communicating with customers/suppliers
  • Processing customer quotations, sales orders and despatch notes
  • Assisting accounts function generally including invoicing, statements, credit control and credit account applications
  • All other sales office tasks including monitoring emails, filing etc


  • Good communication skills both oral and written
  • Close attention to detail and accurate inputting
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Organised, adaptable, methodical and able to follow written procedures
  • Proactive and a willing team player with confident and helpful telephone manner
  • Able to demonstrate a solid work ethic and manage a varied workload
