Purchasing and Sales Assistant
Billingshurst
Responsibilities
- Monitoring stock levels, liaise with warehouse and reorder stock as necessary
- Processing purchase orders, goods received notes and purchase invoices
- Answering telephone and communicating with customers/suppliers
- Processing customer quotations, sales orders and despatch notes
- Assisting accounts function generally including invoicing, statements, credit control and credit account applications
- All other sales office tasks including monitoring emails, filing etc
Requirements:
- Good communication skills both oral and written
- Close attention to detail and accurate inputting
- Strong numeracy skills
- Organised, adaptable, methodical and able to follow written procedures
- Proactive and a willing team player with confident and helpful telephone manner
- Able to demonstrate a solid work ethic and manage a varied workload
- Reliable and a good timekeeper
- Positive and mature attitude, with friendly and helpful personality
