Our Client is looking for  Overhead Transmission Linesman:

Responsibilities

• -> General Rigging, carrying out pre-inspection checks
• -> Earthing tasks
• -> Jumpering
• -> Platform erection
• -> Jointing
• -> Running conductors and earth/ground wires
• -> Steel assembly and erection tasks
• -> In-situ steelwork replacement
• -> Install downleads in accordance with diagrams
• -> Install anti-climbing devices
• -> Operate effectively as part of a team
• -> Follow relevant company policies, procedures and documentation
• -> Carry out other tasks as directed

Requirements

• -> A minimum of 3 years of experience in Tower Erection, Steelwork replacement, Full and partial structural replacement, Maintenance work
• -> Steel lattice tower experience is essential
• -> Formal qualifications (relevant) would be desirable
• -> Valid UK car driving license/International driving permit is desirable. If needed conversion assistance will be given

Working Hours

• -> Monday to Friday: 7.30am – 6pm
• -> 12 days on, 2 days off
• -> Summer 26 weeks: 10 hours
• -> Winter 26 weeks: 9 hours
