Job Responsibilities
- -> Assist in ensuring speedy resolution of Help Desk queries and change requests
- -> Provide IT related support to the WWT end-user community.
- -> Play a key role in troubleshooting, processing, configuring and issuing new PC’s, laptops and associated peripherals to WWT requirements.
- -> Perform common user account administration including creating / removing user accounts and managing permissions.
- -> To assist in delivering, and take ownership where agreed, IT projects as identified by the Infrastructure Lead & IT Support, supporting and improving the IT service provided in line with business requirements
- -> To assist in ensuring the network is functioning correctly and when failures occur to take prompt action to recover a fully operational state including alerting senior staff and 3rd party escalation.
Requirements
- -> Experience in supporting a wide range of users in a Microsoft business environment.
- -> Confident in supporting Windows 10 and Office 2016 and experience in supporting Office 365 would be an advantage.
- -> Confident in configuring and maintaining PC’s, laptops and associated peripherals, together with a good understanding of LAN and WAN network support techniques.
- -> Experience in working with Microsoft Active Directory, preferably in a hybrid configuration.
- -> Strong communication skills and be able to assist a wide range of users, often remotely, in a professional and polite manner.
