HR Advisor

Job Responsibilities:

HR Support:

  • Act as the go-to person for HR queries, offering guidance and resolutions.
  • Based in High Wycombe with occasional travel to Bicester (own transportation required).

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, collaborating with Department Heads on job specifications.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new starters.

Policy Management and Compliance:

  • Oversee HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation.
  • Keep Terms and Conditions up-to-date and maintain organized HR documentation.

System Management:

  • Efficiently manage Sage People, implementing new functionality for streamlined HR operations.

Employee Development:

  • Contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive training strategy.

Employee Relations Management:

    • Handle disciplinary and performance-related procedures with sensitivity and compliance.
    • Stay updated on UK employment legislation.

Requirements:

  • Experienced HR Advisor with a minimum of three years in a similar or generalist capacity.
  • Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualified
  • Strong and up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and adaptable to learning new HR systems.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Impartial and diplomatic in handling challenging situations.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
