Business Development Leader


Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Leading business development activities, including generating leads and winning new business
  2. Establishing trusted and collaborative relationships with key stake holders, including regional sales managers, to ensure a clear value proposition for our products, along with an appropriate pricing strategy
  3. Representing our product family with regional sales teams, customers, on social media, at conferences and trade shows, to build credibility and develop networks within our industry
  4. Promoting the growth of newly released products in the early stages of the product lifecycle


  1. You are tenacious and you have a demonstrable track record in winning new business, ideally in an engineering context
  2. You enjoy the challenge of developing an in-depth knowledge of technical, high-specification products
  3. You are comfortable presenting complex requirements to a broad range of technical experts, including demanding customers
  4. You enjoy influencing and negotiating with people and you can translate technical details into persuasive value propositions
  5. You demonstrate high levels of organisation and focus across CRM such as Salesforce and you can analyse trends and opportunities
  6. You have a degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) or another technical subject
