Our maintenance engineers service and repair all plant and machinery to maintain productions that meet all health and safety requirements. You may also need to install new plant and machinery. Previous experience working with complex hydraulics on 3000-ton presses (proportional and servo vales) is essential.
You are responsible for installing replacement components and carrying out repairs using lathes, cutting/grinding, and welding equipment. You will also check tolerances and clearances during re-assembly and test the equipment to ensure they are effective and safe following the repair.
Our machinery operates up to 700bar, so health and safety and a good understanding of the dangers is a must! Safety comes first!
As well as breakdowns, there will be planned maintenance checks to assess the requirements for repair and checking for any faults using hydraulic and pneumatic drawings to identify the appropriate replacements parts.
Requirements:
Hydraulic knowledge of systems up to 700bar pressure
Maintaining up to 3000-ton presses
Understanding of proportional vales and how they work in a hydraulic system
