Senior Business Development Manager


Job Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for the delivery of growth targets in line with the corporate plan
  • Create, maintain, and continually develop a strategy that defines which customers which markets, and which services we will target to expand our business
  • Create a sales plan to deliver strategy
  • Be accountable for the delivery of aspects of sector mapping, research, opportunity identification, and development
  • Be accountable for your pipeline commitment and support the wider team
  • Be accountable for the development and presentation of bids to the point of decision and then lead the commercial negotiations whilst maximising value and opportunity and ensuring the new business meets our profitability targets
  • Develop and own new customer relationships for all potential new business
  • Own strategic customer relationships with current customers as appropriate and in particular for existing customers where there are new services or territories that we wish to grow with that customer
  • Support and execution of propositions appropriate to the sector
  • Work as part of the Business Development team in ensuring that we act and win
